Jeffrey Dean Morgan was honored as one of People's Sexiest Men Alive for 2007.
The day before he got his role on Supernatural, Morgan's former manager (and good friend) dropped him because he wasn't getting enough work, claiming she couldn't resurrect his career.
Morgan revisited his artistic talent by creating and donating a painting to the 'Race for the Rescues' "Walk of Paws Celebrity Art Auction," on October 29, 2006. The money raised at the event went to help shelter dogs and cats in and around Pasadena, CA.
Morgan learned to play the guitar for his part in P.S. I Love You, after only a week of lessons from Heart's Nancy Wilson. Morgan has been romantically linked with Weeds co-star Mary-Louise Parker, who has stated that the relationship is "going great!" The two, who first began dating in 2006 broke up, then re-kindled their romance, becoming engaged in February 2008. Unfortunately, the engagement was short-lived as they announced they had broken their engagement in April 2008. In the three shows that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was active in simultaneously (Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, and Weeds), all three of his characters died.
Starting with the 1991 movie Uncaged, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has appeared in fifteen movies to date.
Morgan, who played a demon hunter on the cult hit, Supernatural, will be sharing the big screen with James Marsters, who coincidentally played reformed demon Spike on the critically acclaimed hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Marsters need not fear however - Morgan's role is a far cry from his demon hunting days. The two actors will co-star in the big screen romantic comedy P.S. I Love You, due out in 2008.
Since starring on both Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy in 2006, Morgan has been an in demand actor and has been cast in several big screen films.
In 2006, Jeffrey was number 7 on TV Guide's 50 Sexiest Men list.
Jeffrey guest-starred with Loretta Devine on two different hit shows, Supernatural as Missouri Moseley and in Grey's Anatomy as Adele Webber.
Jeffrey also won the Tater Top award for "Biggest Tearjerker" for his death scene on Grey's Anatomy.
He is sometimes credited as Jeffrey D. Morgan.
He has appeared in the theatrical productions of both Grease and West Side Story.
In 2005 and 2006 he was on three hit shows at the same time on three different networks.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his friends and laughing as much as possible, painting, writing and reading.
Jeffrey is 6'2.
Jeffrey has a dog named Bisou which means 'kiss' in French. Bisou is a female 9-year-old Rottweiler mix.
