Jeffrey Dean Morgan has showcased his leading man charisma, undeniable charm, versatility and star quality on three popular television series, and he has booked major roles in a variety of upcoming studio and independent feature films.

On the feature front, Morgan plays the love interest to Hilary Swank's character in the film adaptation of Cecilia Ahern's best-selling novel, "P.S. I Love You," directed by Richard LaGravenese ("Freedom Writers"). It is a drama about 'Holly,' (Swank), a widow whose life is rejuvenated when letters from her deceased husband send her on a series of adventures which help her to move on with her life. Morgan plays 'William Gallagher,' a charming and sexy Irish singer who 'Holly' falls for in Dublin. Warner Bros. will release the film on December 21, 2007.

Morgan has most recently been cast in a starring role in the Warner Bros. feature "Watchmen," writer/director Zack Snyder's ("300") adaptation of the iconic graphic novel. Morgan stars as 'Comedian,' a Vietnam vet who is a member of a group of heroes called the Minutemen. Production is currently underway in Vancouver.

In addition, Morgan stars opposite Uma Thurman in the romantic comedy, "The Accidental Husband," directed by Griffin Dunne. Yari Film Group plans to release the film on March 7, 2008.

This past year, the busy actor filmed a cameo role opposite Rachel Weisz in Warner Bros.' holiday comedy "Fred Claus," opening November 9, 2007.

He also shot the independent office comedy, "Kabluey," opposite Lisa Kudrow. He plays the role of 'Brad,' a charismatic yet smarmy co-worker to Kudrow's character. "Kabluey" is written and directed by Scott Prendergast, who also stars. The film premiered at the 2007 Los Angeles Film Festival.

Additionally, Morgan has wrapped production on the independent feature, "Live!" opposite Eva Mendes. The film is about a driven TV network executive (Mendes) who attempts to produce a controversial reality show where contestants play Russian Roulette, with the winner receiving $5 million. Morgan plays 'Rick,' a hard working Minnesota farmer who enters the contest hoping to win the money so that he can hold on to his family farm and make sure it will be around for his teenage son. "Live!" premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.

Morgan endeared himself to audiences with his recurring role on ABC's smash hit drama series "Grey's Anatomy." His dramatic arc as heart patient 'Denny Duquette,' who wins the heart of intern 'Izzie Stevens' (Katherine Heigl) in a star-crossed romance, made him an unqualified fan favorite.

Morgan also had a recurring role on The CW and Warner Bros. Television's drama series, "Supernatural." He played 'John Winchester,' the ghost busting father of two estranged brothers (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) who reunite when their dad mysteriously disappears.

In addition to "Supernatural," Morgan also had a recurring role opposite Golden-Globe winner Mary Louise Parker on Showtime and Lions Gate Television's Golden Globe- nominated half-hour comedy series, "Weeds." He appeared in flashbacks and fantasy sequences as the deceased husband to Parker's character. It is his untimely death that forces the newly single mom to resort to selling marijuana to make a living in suburban Los Angeles.

In his spare time, Morgan enjoys barbecuing on the grill, reading, watching movies and listening to his favorite band, The Eagles. The Seattle native also loves to root for his home team, the Seattle Seahawks. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his dog Bisou Morgan.  - from imdb.com
