Texas Killing Fields:

Finally! Trailers, clips, and photos for 'Texas Killing Fields' have been popping up, and this time, the trailer is in English! We've also seen a short, new interview from Jeffrey from Newsday today, where we get to hear from Jeff himself on not only the 'Fields', but also a correction to the name of his 'Magic City' character on Starz.

'Texas Killing Fields' opens in limited release TOMORROW, Oct 7th! Check your local theaters and if they don't have it, request it!


Television News

Magic City:

Starz Media gave us a first look into the world of the series 'Magic City', which is currently filming in Miami. As reported above, the character Jeff plays was previously reported per IMDB as Ike Evans. However, in the new interview released today from media outlet Newsday, we hear it straight from the man himself (via the interview) - his character is named Ben Novak, a hotel owner in Miami during the height of the Rat Pack era.

As many of you may have noticed from visiting our Facebook page, the site was hacked last week. So far, everything seems back up and running smoothly thanks to the efforts of our server and the quick response of our site owner, Dayna. Film News

Heart-Shaped Box:
The rumored 'Heart-Shaped Box' is supposedly still in development as a movie lead for Jeffrey. Only time will tell if it actually gets produced.

Possession:
Dibbuk Box, the horror flick that was filmed in Vancouver with Kyra Sedgwick, has gotten a release date AND a name change. Check your theaters around January 6, 2012 for the newly renamed 'Possession'.

The Courier:
New pics surfaced of Jeffrey in The Courier - you can catch a glimpse of them in our gallery here.

The Resident:
As of July 4th, you can now find this creepy JDM movie in stores and on Amazon.com on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc. Go out and grab yourself a copy!

Television News

Magic City:
Announced back in January, JDM joined the cast of Starz new series, Magic City. Jeffrey will be in the lead role, filming in Miami for a debut on Starz in 2012. Red Dawn: Two days after the New Year, it was announced that MGM planned a 2011 release for the 80's remake and a picture of the young cast was released. Click here to view the picture.


The Courier: We've gotten our first look at The Courier movie poster, though you can't tell who it is on the poster.


The Resident: Image Entertainment has announced that The Resident will not be headed to the big screen and will instead be released straight to DVD and BluRay. The DVD/BluRay release is slated for March 29, 2011.

The Fields: QED has announced the theatrical release date for The Fields as July 16th, 2011.

Dibbuk Box: It was announced last week that Jeffrey had signed on to Sam Raimi's thriller 'Dibbuk Box', about the daughter of divorced parents (Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick) who becomes obsessed with a mysterious box. The flick is set for an October 28th release, just in time for Halloween weekend. Since the news broke on January 13th, casting has sped along, adding Sedgwick, Natasha Calis and Madison Davenport.

Peace, Love & Misunderstanding: Filming wrapped on the film near the end of August for some of the stars, including Jane Fonda and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. We are still awaiting word of a release date. IMDB has the date listed as 2011.

Red Dawn: The release date has been pushed back yet again as MGM deals with financial woes. Red Dawn was previously scheduled for a November 27th, 2010 release, but is now listed 'to be determined', according to ComingSoon.net.

The Courier: Filming began in Louisiana in September and was slated to continue until October 22nd. News of cast additions began to surface mid-October, including Oscar-nominee Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2, The Wrestler), Til Schweiger (Inglourious Basterds) and actress Josie Ho (Dream Home).

The Resident: IMDB now shows a UK release date for the film, listed as March 2011. The Resident will also be shown at the 31st American Film Market happening November 3-10. Image Entertainment Inc has acquired the US rights to the film as of November 9th according to numerous sources - Movie City News, Shock Till You Drop, The Wrap.com, and Variety.com. We have also been given a date range for theatrical release - Spring 2011.

All Good Things: Finally we have some news on this film! The Courier: According to www.deadline.com, The Courier is now a sure thing. We posted this as a rumor a few months back, but this is the first actual piece of news we've seen on the project. Jeffrey will play a courier who has taken on improbable missions and never missed a drop. He's hired to deliver a briefcase to a notorious underworld figure that can't be found. The courier finds himself pursued by corrupt cops, double-crossing feds and rival crime bosses. Filming is reported to begin in New Orleans next month.

Peace, Love and Misunderstanding: Not only is Jane Fonda posting pics from the set, but we also snagged a few photos found roaming the net! Check out pictures from filming in our gallery.

The Resident: A Hi-Res trailer from Hammer Films' The Resident has popped up online. While Jeffrey looks creepy as landlord Max, the film looks fantastic!

Peace, Love and Misunderstanding: Jeffrey Dean Morgan has signed onto 'Peace, Love and Misunderstanding', co-starring with the very talented Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener. He will play a musician and carpenter who falls in love with Keener's character. Bruce Beresford is directing the film.

Jonah Hex: According to Toronto Sun writer Kevin Williamson, Jeffrey has an unbilled role in Jonah Hex and appears in a key scene. We are happily stunned to learn that this is not a misprint and that Jeffrey DOES have a role. The movie is due in theaters this Friday, June 18th.


Red Dawn: Rumors have been circulating that Red Dawn will be delayed indefinitely because of MGM's financial woes. However, the head of marketing at MGM, Mike Vollman, is adamant that the movie will keep it's November 24th, 2010 release date. Read the article here.
